翻译Little Doves这首英文歌，是有感于原作者身为一个外国友人，面对中国地震灾难，表达出的真挚感情。歌曲哀婉而不颓废，令人敬佩赞叹。

选用古风体来翻译这首英文歌，是一种尝试。尽量保持原词的节奏，并在个别词句中揉入古体之深沉含蓄。

无辜的离鸽已在天堂安息，活着的人们，众志成城，用我们的勇气，信念和爱，重建家园！

好一首悲怆感人的古风！好一曲动情神伤的歌！让人在悲痛之余感到一种力量。

想起了 Edward Everett Hale诗:

I am only one
but I am one
can't do everything
but I can do something.

是啊，虽然我每一个人只是一个个体，但是我每一个人都是人类的一份子。我们虽然无法做所有的事，但是我可以做一些事；而我们可以做的事情，我们便应该去做。我想，这样的事情许多人已经在做了，我希望他们会一直做下去。

我是个无神论者，所以我更愿意说，“借着人类良知的帮助，我们一定会去做”。
